Professor Yang Yue Xi’an Jiaotong University, China Yang Yue received the B.S. and M.S. degrees in electrical engineering and optics from Nankai University, China, in 2004 and 2007, respectively. He received the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from the University of Southern California, USA, in 2012. He is a Professor with the School of Information and Communications Engineering, Xi'an Jiaotong University, China. Dr. Yue’s current research interest is intelligent photonics, including optical communications, optical perception, and optical chip. He has published over 200 journal papers (including Science) and conference proceedings with >10,000 citations, five edited books, two book chapters, >50 issued or pending patents, >200 invited presentations (including 2 tutorial, >40 plenary and >50 keynote talks). Dr. Yue is a Senior Member of IEEE, Optica and SPIE. He is an Associate Editor for IEEE Access and Frontiers in Physics, Editor Board Member for four other scientific journals, Guest Editor for >10 journal special issues. He also served as Chair or Committee Member for >100 international conferences, Reviewer for >60 prestigious journals. | |
Professor Meenakshi Sharma Galgotias University, India She is a highly qualified professional with an M.Tech in Computer Science & Engineering and has been awarded a Ph.D in Computer Science (both from Kurukshetra University) for her extensive experience in academics and research. She is currently employed with the University Center of Research & Development (UCRD) as Dean and Professor in the School of Computer Science & Engineering at Galgotias University, Greater Noida. Her research interest lies in Machine Learning (ML), Image Processing, Big Data Analytics, Data Compression, and Digital & Data Warehousing. She has to his credit a total of 60+ research publications in IEEE transaction, SCIE, SCI, and Scopus in ML, Deep Learning, and AI in collaboration with International Authors. She has 4 international Grant Patents and 7 Indian Patents. She was bestowed with the ‘Best Research and Teacher’ award for five consecutive years (2017-21). She has capably guided 3 Ph.D candidates and 40+ students in UG/PG, with 5 currently under guidance. She is a valuable member of various Engineering Societies like ISTE, ACM, InSc, ISDS Society, Japan, IEAE, and many others. She is a National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) Expert in preparing the Research Mandate, Research Policies, Seed Fund, and maintaining data for fellowship/financial support by various agencies. She is involved in preparing documents related to facilities to support research and government & non-government agencies' research grants. She is also involved in filling research funds like DST and FIST. She is approached by ~200 patents in 2019-20 along with being approached for research papers/book chapters and books for 1000+ Faculty/UG/PG/Ph.D. students in a high-impacted journal in 2019-20. She is also handling a research project for the entire university to target Scopus Publications.He is signed MoUs with international universities and conducted various activities on research. | |

Professor Miaowen Wen South China University of Technology, China Dr. Wen was born in 1987. He received the B.S. degree from Beijing Jiaotong University, Beijing, China, in 2009, and the Ph.D. degree from Peking University, Beijing, China, in 2014. From 2012 to 2013, he was a Visiting Student Research Collaborator with Princeton University, Princeton, NJ, USA. From 2019 to 2021, he was with the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, The University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong, as a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow. He is currently a Professor with South China University of Technology, Guangzhou, China, and a Distinguished Professor with Nantong University, Nantong, China. He has published two Springer books entitled Index Modulation for 5G Wireless Communications and Index Modulation for OFDM Communications Systems, as well as 220+ research papers, which include 150+ journal papers and 70+ conference papers. His research interests include a variety of topics in the areas of wireless and molecular communications. He is a Senior Member of the IEEE. Dr. Wen was a recipient of the IEEE Asia-Pacific (AP) Outstanding Young Researcher Award in 2020, and four Best Paper Awards from the IEEE ITST’12, the IEEE ITSC’14, the IEEE ICNC’16, and the IEEE ICCT’19. He was the winner in data bakeoff competition (Molecular MIMO) at IEEE CTW'19, Selfoss, Iceland. He served as a Guest Editor for the IEEE JOURNAL ON SELECTED AREAS IN COMMUNICATIONS and for the IEEE JOURNAL OF SELECTED TOPICS IN SIGNAL PROCESSING. Currently, he is serving as an Editor for the IEEE TRANSACTIONS ON COMMUNICATIONS, the IEEE TRANSACTIONS ON MOLECULAR, BIOLOGICAL, AND MULTISCALE COMMUNICATIONS, and the IEEE COMMUNICATIONS LETTERS. | |
Professor Shuwen Xu Xidian University，China In 2002, he was admitted to the electronics and information engineering major (national first-class undergraduate major) of the School of Electronic Engineering of Xi'an University of Electronic Science and Technology, and in 2006, he was qualified to enter the Institute of Electronics of Xi'an University of Electronic Science and Technology for master's and doctoral studies in information and communication engineering (double first-class disciplines). In 2011, after graduating from the doctoral program, he stayed at the university and is currently a professor and doctoral supervisor of Xi'an University of Electronic Science and Technology. At present, it has completed more than 80 SCI retrieval papers, more than 30 EI retrieval papers, authorized 30 national patents, accepted more than 10, and authorized 2 software copyrights. The representative papers were published in IEEE Transaction on Aerospace Electronic System, Signal processing, Digital Signal processing, Electronics letters, IET radar, sonar and navigation, Chinese science and other internationally renowned important academic journals. Served as the branch chairman of several international conferences. He has presided over a number of NSFC general and youth projects and a number of national level projects, with a project funding of more than 20 million in the past three years. At present, he is the reviewer of several international academic journals, such as IEEE Transaction on Aerospace Electronic System, Electronics letters, IET radar, sonar and navigation. At present, the main research interests include: target detection, weak target detection in complex clutter background, time-frequency analysis, etc. |

He is currently the director of the Shaanxi Key laboratory of intelligent processing for energy big data, the director of the Shaanxi electronic information experimental teaching demonstration center, the deputy director of the Shaanxi physics experimental teaching demonstration center, and the director of the Yanan Key laboratory of information processing and measurement and control technology. He used to serve as the secretary of teaching and research, associate dean, and dean of the school of physics and electronic information, the director of the institute of radio waves and the director of the institute of information and communication engineering of Yanan University. | |
